After quickly becoming interested in Employment Law, Katherine took courses, and worked in Plaintiffs’ firms throughout her last two years of law school. She is most interested in areas such as discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, civil rights, wage and hour claims, and traditional labor. She obtained a J.D. emphasis in Advocacy, was an editor on the Law Review, and went undefeated in the Ellison Moot Court Competition in her final semester.

Before going to law school, Katherine studied Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and Public Affairs. She worked in multiple legal roles during her time in Springfield, Missouri, in criminal defense and plaintiffs’ social security disability. In her free time, she enjoys watching football and basketball, and spending time outdoors.
